Should Ask Their Self Before Training

Take a moment to think about how your dog behaves day to day.
These simple questions help us understand where your dog may need the most guidance and structure:

  1. Is my dog reliable with basic commands (Sit, Down, Stay, Come) when distractions are around?

  2. Does my dog jump on guests or family members when greeting them?

  3. Does my dog pull on the leash or ignore me during walks?

  4. Does my dog bark excessively at noises, people, or other dogs?

  5. Is my dog fully potty trained, or do accidents still happen indoors?

  6. Can my dog settle calmly in a crate or stay on a “place” for at least 30 minutes?

  7. Does my dog show reactivity such as lunging, growling, or barking at other dogs or people?

  8. Does my dog get anxious when left alone—whining, pacing, or chewing things?

  9. Does my dog guard food, toys, or personal space from people or other pets?

  10. Has my dog ever bitten or attempted to bite a person or another animal?
