3. How does your training method work?
At Public Manner, we believe in a balanced, relationship-based approach. Our methods are built on communication, structure, and consistency — helping your dog understand what’s expected while building trust and confidence.
We teach both dogs and owners how to maintain calm, reliable obedience in real-world situations.
4. What’s the difference between Board & Train and Private In-Home Training?
Board & Train: Your dog stays with our trainers for an immersive training experience. This is ideal for dogs needing faster results, behavior modification, or advanced obedience.
Private In-Home Training: We come to you for personalized, hands-on sessions that help your dog learn directly in their everyday environment. Perfect for owners who want to be part of every step.
5. How long does training take?
Every dog learns differently, but most programs last between 2 to 4 weeks for Board & Train and 4 to 8 sessions for Private In-Home Training.
Longer programs may be recommended for advanced obedience or service dog work.
6. What equipment do you use?
We use professional-grade training tools to ensure clear communication and lasting results, including:
Dogtra e-collars
Herm Sprenger prong collars
Slip leads
Elevated place beds
Long lines & treat pouches
All tools are introduced safely and responsibly to support your dog’s understanding and comfort.
7. How much does training cost?
Pricing varies based on your program, location, and dog’s needs.
We offer flexible options starting around $175 per in-home session, with multi-session packages and board & train programs available.
Payments can be made via Zelle or secure credit card link (2.7% fee applies).
8. Do you train all breeds and sizes?
Absolutely! From tiny Chihuahuas to massive Cane Corsos, we’ve worked with every breed, temperament, and age. Our goal is to help big dogs, little dogs, and everything in between achieve calm, confident obedience.
